Harrison Langham, April 1960

Harrison Langham (1887-1973) shows off a mess of redhorse caught during a fishing trip on the White River near Goshen (Washington County) in April 1950.

The redhorse is a member of the sucker family. According to Arkansas Fish, published by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, redhorse " is tasty but, because of small bones, fillets must be deeply scored every quarter-inch before frying."
